A favorite of the Northeast Ohio secular community will be joining us for our May Cleveland chapter meeting!
Theoretical Physicist, secular activist and longtime CFI NE Ohio member Mano Singham will be delving into some strange science with his presentation: “Is the Distance from Earth to Jupiter the Same as the Distance from Jupiter to Earth? The Strange Behavior of Rulers and Clocks”.
As Mano says, “There are some interesting things about the nature of distance and time that arise from Einstein’s Special and General Theories of Relativity.” Needless to say, this is going to be a program of great interest to those who love science.
The May Cleveland chapter meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 9 at 7pm at Garfield Heights Library. Don’t miss this fascinating presentation by the winner of CFI NE Ohio’s 2015 Humanism Award!
As usual, light refreshments will be served. See you there! 🙂
